Welcome to our Asian American Cultural Ambassador Fellowship program, a platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of Asian American leaders, artists, creators, and cultural ambassadors in Pennsylvania.
As torchbearers of cultural legacy and innovation, we recognize the invaluable contributions and unique perspectives that emerge from within our diverse community. This fellowship is a testament to our commitment to nurturing and amplifying the voices of Asian American organizers and artists, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and platform they need to flourish and create impactful change.
Who Should Apply?
- Age Eligibility: 18-35
- You can apply if you are one of the following:
- Student organization leaders/official position holders in Pennsylvania
- Pennsylvania based youth organizer
- Asian American artists, musicians, singers, poets, painters, etc.
What does the Community Fund offer?
Financial support for leadership development and organizing events
Financial Sponsorship of fellow’s work/events catered for Asian American communities in Pennsylvania. Fellowship will range from $500-$5000 depending on scope of work and events size
Support from a cohort and the AACFPA’s Program Manager to deepen in understanding and connections between Asian arts & culture work and civic engagement & voter education
Networking opportunities at both national and state level which includes cultural fairs, conferences, and conventions to connect with peers, professionals, and leaders from our Asian American communities across the country
Mentorship programs to pair youth with experienced professionals or community leaders who serve as mentors to provide guidance and support on educational and career paths. Mentorship opportunities may include one-on-one mentoring sessions, group mentorship programs, or workshops led by mentors
What does the fellow agree to?
Alignment with AACFPA mission and values
Agreement that the fellow will work with the Community Fund on nonpartisan voter education and registration activities at the Asian American cultural or arts events.
Representing AACFPA at arts and cultural events oriented around Asian American communities in Pennsylvania
Agreement to the AACFPA visible branding and presence at the events organized by fellows, including but not limited to: using the AACFPA logo on the event website, flyers, and other promotional materials, and an AACFPA representative speaking spot in the program

The inaugural cohort of the Asian American Cultural Ambassador Fellowship will be held between Fall-Winter 2024. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with a final deadline in mid-summer TBD.
